Diane helps women, teens, and young adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or caught in patterns of self-doubt. Her work focuses on anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions, offering a supportive space for clients to understand their experiences and find practical ways forward.

As the owner of Crystal Waters Counseling Centers, Diane brings a warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. She welcomes honest conversations, humor, and the emotions clients may feel they need to hide elsewhere. She combines thoughtful exploration with practical strategies for managing overwhelming feelings, setting boundaries, and building self-trust.

With more than 25 years of experience across education and counseling, including her work as a teacher and school counselor, Diane understands how school, family, and relationship pressures can affect emotional well-being. This background informs her work with teens navigating academic and social challenges, young adults finding their direction, and women balancing others’ needs with their own.

Diane draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strategies that help clients recognize and respond to their body’s stress signals. She tailors therapy to each person’s needs and goals, helping clients feel more grounded, connected, and confident while making room for their own well-being.

She provides therapy in Columbia, MD, White Marsh, MD, and via secure telehealth across the state of Maryland.
