Tynia Wainwright- Intern
Tynia Wainwright is a dedicated counseling intern at Crystal Waters Counseling currently pursuing her LGPC licensure in mental health counseling. Passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, Tynia takes a client-centered approach, providing a warm, nonjudgmental space for healing and personal growth.
With a background in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling, Tynia integrates evidence-based techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. Tynia brings over 25 years of experience as a federal government employee, along with significant contributions to the law enforcement community.
Under the supervision of Diane Brumfield, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Supervisor (LCPC – S), Tynia is committed to fostering resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being in clients from diverse backgrounds. She believes in empowering individuals to explore their strengths and create meaningful change in their lives.
Beyond her clinical work, Tynia is passionate about culinary arts, travel, advocacy, self-care, and holistic wellness practices. She looks forward to walking alongside clients on their journey toward healing and self-discovery
