  4. Mindfulness and meditation: Being outside  helps promote mindfulness, which is the practice of being present in the moment and fully engaged with your surroundings. This helps reduce anxious thoughts and feelings.
  5. Connection with nature: Being outside helps you feel more connected to nature, which allows for calming and reduction of feelings of anxiety. Furthermore, this connection may help you feel more grounded and centered.
